National Small Business Week: Honoring and Educating Entrepreneurs
This week is National Small Business Week. The initiative is organized by the Small Business Administration (SBA), a government agency that focuses on providing support to current and aspiring business owners. Since 1963, the President of the United States has proclaimed the week as a celebration to honor the millions of entrepreneurs in the United States.
The SBA arranges events and programs to highlight small business owners and educate entrepreneurs on business ownership. During the week, SBA is hosting a free virtual conference that covers various topics around business ownership. Here are some of the webinars available:

SBA will also be announcing the 2018 National Small Business Week award winners. There are 13 various awards, including the National Small Business Person of the year. The announcement will be broadcast live on the SBA’s Facebook page.
